quiet roomexcellent locationgood breakfast
i asked for a quiet room and got allocated a big room at the back. it was quieter there, good. location proved excellent, especially for rail stations and st georges hall. breakfast was very good, with enough choice i think.
the maintenance of the hotel really needs some spending. i think the first room i saw had no shower and a blocked bath tub.

the room was clean. it included a hairdryer, iron, and ironing board. the bed was also nice and neat.
the room needed maintenance. it looked old and shabby with multiple water stains. night security felt poor.

The bar service was substandard. One staff member was rude during a simple query. her behavior was embarrassing, with raised voices and loud banging clearly audible to other guests. customer service training is needed for her. (i expect much better at these prices).

Check in was very kind, also cute. The staff thoughtfully changed my room from two single beds to a double bed, I was very happy. The hotel is grand. I seemed like royalty in the lounge area with amazing decor! The hotel has an excellent location.
The room was old and dated, I noticed. There were stains on the bathroom floor and the cushion looked old.

The room was spacious and well cared for with warm ambiance. The bathroom looked brand new, offering a very pleasing and functional design. I found housekeeping to be thorough. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
